Varangian Guard International Branding

As part of a full branding package, this logo system was developed for the Varangian Guard International LLC, a consulting company based in Virginia Beach, VA. I was challenged to create a flexible system that could be applied to a range of promotional materials as both a graphic element and identifying mark. The selected design is based on a previously used iteration of the logo, but works to improve the form and function while introducing a modern flare. The focal point of the design is a fierce horned skull, but the design also makes reference to the historical Varangian Guard through the inclusion of the traditional shield, axe, and spear.
